or Confront: You Decide
** Change this one thing about your life
and I guarantee that you will be well on your way to achieving the
life you want!
I haven’t met a person yet who doesn’t want to improve
their life in some way or another. Either we want to lose weight,
make more money, improve our relationships, be a better manager,
etc. It only stands to reason that whatever you are doing up to
this point in your life isn’t working. So what do you do about
it, you say? Simple, you change! You have to change
something about your attitude, your habits or
your routine in order for other things to change in your
life. So if it’s this easy, then
why don’t people just change? I’ll tell you why-people
don’t change because they are comfortable
in their present situation.
Our comfort zones are directly related to our dreams, goals or
just the way we want our life to be. We have grown accustomed to
our living, working and social environments. These environments
determine the friends we have, the careers we are in, and the lifestyles
that we accept or reject. Now, if you are completely
satisfied with every aspect of your life-- you are
the exception to the rule. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, your comfort zone feels
real good doesn’t it? Good -stay there, and you don’t
have to do a thing, but if you do here’s what you give up...
*Your Dreams
*Your Aspirations
*Your Goals and
*Your Potential to have a more fulfilling life than what you currently
have.
If you are not satisfied and the status quo isn’t
good enough for you, you need to confront
your comfort zone- here’s what to
do....
First - Imagine the changes you want and be clear
and serious about this. See yourself with more money, see yourself
in your corner office, see yourself the way you will look fifty
pounds lighter. If you take this important step, soon your present
comfort zone will begin to be more and more unacceptable and your
subconscious will start to be affected.
Second - Start working on a realistic
plan of action, with milestones and time lines to achieve your desired
result. For if you don’t do something, all the wishes, aspirations,
and best laid plans are useless. You will be no better off than
when you began. You don’t want this. Do you want to take a
chance and do this very important step alone? I wouldn’t if

Third - Be persistent, determined and focused.
YOU HAVE TO KEEP AT IT. You have to be able to
deal with obstacles, setbacks and roadblocks that will eventually
come up. When an obstacle arises, how will you deal with it? Even
though we can’t predict every obstacle that will come up,
try to anticipate areas where an obstacle may hamper your progress,
and have an idea as to how to deal with it.
** Never be satisfied with where you are in life when you
know you can do better. If you know that you can do better, be better
and have more, you have an obligation to yourself to go out and
make it happen. Don’t short change yourself. Comfort or Confront,
you decide.
